To celebrate the 55th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG and to showcase F1 technology collaboration, the new edition gets added to the AMG lineup.

There is no denying that the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance is the brand's most powerful production model so far. Mercedes-Benz made this possible via the technology transfer from Formula 1. Now, Mercedes-AMG is reaffirming its links to the F1 team with the AMG GT 63 S E Performance F1 Edition.

Building on the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E Performance, this special F1 Edition has its exterior wrapped in non-metallic Manufaktur alpine gray paint, foiling with AMG logo and a color gradient from gray to black. Red color accents complete the exterior.

Interestingly, the 21-inch AMG forged wheels of the F1 Edition follow the color scheme of those on Mercedes-AMG’s official FIA F1 Medical Car – a five-twin-spoke design with black matte finish and red rim flange.

In addition, the F1 Edition benefits from the AMG Aerodynamics package. This package includes a fixed rear airfoil in high-gloss black, optimized rear apron-integrated diffuser, optimized front apron with larger front splitter, as well as additional air deflector elements on the air intakes and the front wheel arches. The package also includes deflector elements on the rear wing's side air outlets.

Aside from the AMG Aerodynamics package, the AMG GT 63 S E Performance F1 Edition benefits from the AMG Night Package Exterior and the AMG Night Package II. These packages add a high-gloss black front splitter as well as high-gloss black trim elements on the front wings, exterior mirror housings, side edge trim and window surrounds.

The packages also adds trim strip in the rear apron, twin tailpipe trims (of the AMG exhaust system) in black chrome, heat-insulating dark tinted glass, darkened AMG-specific radiator grille, as well as black chrome model badges on the boot lid and wings.

Completing the look is a new silver chrome AMG fuel filler cap with “AMG” lettering.

Meanwhile, the F1 Edition features a black-and-red interior marked with AMG Performance seats in black Nappa leather upholstery with red decorative stitching. The cabin also has exclusive AMG carbon-fiber trim elements with red thread.

The driver plays with an AMG performance steering wheel in Nappa leather/DINAMICA microfiber with red decorative stitching. The interior likewise features AMG door sill trims with red illuminated “AMG” lettering, exclusive Edition badge, and exclusive AMG floor mats.

Customers can now order their F1 Edition at $25,000 (surcharge). Each F1 Edition comes with a customized AMG Indoor Car Cover featuring the F1 logo.
